“All-One” Means Ending Factory Farming and Opposing the Exploitation of All Animals

Dr. Bronner’s slogan “All-One” reflects the belief that all beings are interconnected and deserve compassion and respect, making the exploitation of animals in factory farming systems a direct violation of that appeal to unity. Embracing “All-One” means recognizing the intrinsic value of all life and rejecting systems that treat animals as mere commodities. By opposing factory farming and any exploitation and unnecessary suffering of animals, we act in alignment with the “All-One” vision of a just, ethical, and sustainable world for all living beings.

This year marks the 12th year of Dr. Bronner’s animal advocacy funding program, which to date has donated approximately $4.8 million in total to organizations working to reshape food systems by exposing suffering of farmed animals, changing policy to improve the treatment of animals on farms, educating the public on the benefits of plant-based diets, creating sanctuaries for rescued animals, and building a more ethical future of food.

In a time of myriad global crises, including environmental destruction, accelerating climate change fueled by industrial agriculture, war, and rising social injustice, Dr. Bronner’s remains steadfast in its commitment to our animal advocacy partners who work to dismantle systems of exploitation and abuse. Animal advocacy is not a single issue, but an interconnected effort toward the liberation of all life on Earth to ensure the longevity of the planet for future generations.

“Dr. Bronner’s is proud to continue supporting diverse and innovative efforts to end factory farming, protect ocean wildlife, and educate communities about plant-based living, all while nurturing a culture of empathy and respect for all life.”

-David Bronner, CEO of Dr. Bronner’s

Advocacy in Action: 2025 Highlights from Dr. Bronner’s Animal Advocacy Partners

Animal Outlook

Animal Outlook made great strides in 2025, in its ongoing mission to challenge animal agribusiness through undercover investigations and legal advocacy work. This year, their powerful investigative work exposed the cruelty and suffering animals endure throughout the U.S., reaching millions of people as this effort was covered in the news by both The New York Times and the Los Angeles Times.

Black Veg Society

Led by award-winning innovator, entrepreneur, and activist Naijha Wright-Brown, Black Veg Society works to educate the public, particularly BIPOC communities, on the benefits of veganism and plant-based eating, while building a community centered around healthy, accessible, and sustainable food. Funding from Dr. Bronner’s in 2025 supported the Children’s Veg Fest in Baltimore and the expansion of her podcast, “Naijha Speaks”.

Farm Forward

Throughout 2025, Farm Forward continued its work to challenge the meat industry’s deceptive marketing tactics and bring about food policies that shift institutions and consumers toward plant-based foods. One such effort is Farm Forward’s work to enact policy change that addresses the link between to animal agriculture and foodborne illness, as covered by Los Angeles Times earlier this year. Furthermore, Farm Forward has continued its ongoing work to shutdown “Big Poultry,” citing the significant risk to public health due to the industry’s role in increasing risks of deadly global pandemics; and led consumer education campaigns to raise awareness of humane-washing of factory-farmed meat products sold at Whole Foods.

VINE Sanctuary

VINE Sanctuary is an LGBTQ-led farmed animal sanctuary in Vermont, that shelters and rehabilitates hundreds of formerly farmed and abused animals. With an approach rooted in ecofeminism and intersectionality, VINE offers diverse public education programs including Humane Education, Pride Month, Disability Pride Month, Barnyard Buddies, and Pasture Pals; and also co-coordinates the popular 30 Day Veg to Vegan Challenge.

Sea Shepherd Global

This year, Sea Shepherd launched a critical operation in the Mediterranean Sea off the coast of Greece to disrupt illegal octopus poaching in the region, by freeing octopus and dismantling the unlawful traps that caught them. This Octopus Trap Removal campaign was supported by the MV Emanuel Bronner, a ship donated by Dr. Bronner’s for Sea Shepherd in 2017, which carried out the scouting and mapping for the campaign to identify locations of illegal traps for removal.
